How Coastal Hardscapes LLC got started
Miguel Pinto started his first landscaping business in 2016 after working in the industry his entire adult life. In 2023, Miguel rebranded his landscaping company to Coastal Hardscapes to shift focus to designing and building backyard oases!
When Miguel first took the leap of faith, he wanted to create a company that truly values and fairly compensates those who are passionate about executing outdoor landscape and hardscape projects. From personal experience, he saw how underpaid and undervalued these skilled professionals often are. Coastal Hardscapes LLC was built to offer value to its employees through profit sharing, competitive pay, vacations, and other incentives that traditional landscape businesses rarely provide.
In return, our team delivers exceptional craftsmanship, fosters strong customer relationships, and brings genuine passion to every project, adding immense value to our clients’ outdoor living spaces. Because we start with the employees’ needs, our customers’ needs are always exceeded, and the result is beautiful hardscaping and landscaping projects!
About Miguel
Miguel is a dedicated family man, community member, and business leader. He actively volunteers with various projects in Pooler, GA, and the Kiwanis Club. As Miguel says, “My family is full of lively characters and playful personalities. From the evolving rituals and routines I share with my daughter to the fun and jokes I have with my 15-year-old, my home is always filled with joy.”

Owner & Founder
Miguel has worked in the landscaping and hardscaping sector for over 15 years. He enjoys spending his free time with his amazing kids!
Favorite Hobbies:
I enjoy saltwater fishing, spearfishing, hiking, meditating, and reading books on strategy, leadership, and personal development. Working out at the local Pooler Y and F3 groups is my favorite way to start my mornings!
Josh Hastings
Marketing
Josh has worked in construction marketing since 2017, following his family’s lead in running a landscaping company. He lives in Pooler, GA, with his wife and 3 young boys!
Favorite Hobbies:
Like Miguel, Josh shares a passion for fitness and health and loves being active. Golf, Pickleball, and spending time with his family, Josh loves people, fitness, and family!
Abraham Shah
Lead Designer & Construction Plans
Abraham, whose full name is Saad Ullah Shah, has been the lead outdoor living designer at Coastal Hardscapes for 3+ years and supports all 3D renderings and construction plans.
Favorite Hobbies:
His hobbies include football and gaming, as well as learning more about business development. When he is not with family, he is usually learning more about design enhancements!
